Is a GPU cloud deposit part of the rental price?
A minimum deposit is an upfront funding requirement, not automatically an additional usage charge. Keep the cash needed to open an account separate from the compute and storage the job consumes.
In today's data: Of the 18 providers whose billing terms we checked (7 July 2026), Jarvislabs ($10) and OVHcloud ($30 credit charge for first Public Cloud project) publish a minimum deposit; the other 16 publish none. A $10 deposit covers 5.0 hours of the cheapest on-demand H100 today.
Check whether unused credit expires, can be refunded or requires a further commitment. Those terms cannot be inferred from an hourly price. The fees table records published minimum-deposit terms.
